The list of bad NFL teams seems to be much larger than it has been in previous years.

Eleven teams will leave Week 10 with either two or three victories.

Six franchises have two victories, but some of them seem worse off than others going into Week 11.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants have a hopeless feeling about themselves and they may be headed for offseasons of total overhaul.

The Dallas Cowboys could quickly find themselves in the mix for a high draft pick with Dak Prescott set to hit injured reserve.

Dallas currently holds the lowest pick of all the two-and-three-win teams, but there are not many guaranteed wins left on its schedule if Cooper Rush or Trey Lance is under center.

Jaguars, Giants in Worst Spots of All Bad Teams

Jacksonville and the New York Giants feel like they are in their own class of hopeless teams.

The Jaguars fell to 2-8 on Sunday with Mac Jones playing in relief of an injured Trevor Lawrence.

Jacksonville at least has a built-in excuse for the Week 10 loss, but as a whole, it has not looked good and Doug Pederson may be on the way out.

Brian Daboll could face the same fate in New York due to another poor performance from Daniel Jones and the Giants offense. Jones looked awful in Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers in Munich.

All of the other teams with two wins have either promise or a legitimate excuse as to why they are bad. Jacksonville and New York had mild expectations going into 2024 and are now in competition for the No. 1 overall pick.

Another loss is incoming for the Jags against the Detroit Lions in Week 11, while the Giants mercilessly have off to try and collect themselves.

Cowboys Could Surge Up Draft Order

The Cooper Rush-Trey Lance quarterback tandem did absolutely nothing to help the Dallas offense on Sunday.

The Cowboys’ future looks bleak because of the limited abilities of their Dak Prescott replacements.

Dallas is not in the top 10 of the projected draft order yet, but it has the potential to surge up the board by the end of November.

The Cowboys play the Houston Texans and Washington Commanders in the next two weeks and some people might pick the Giants to beat them on Thanksgiving Day if the quarterback situation is not figured out.

The December schedule features one winnable game versus the Carolina Panthers, who to their credit are trending upward with a two-game winning streak, so that contest might not even go down as a victory for the Cowboys.

A high draft pick is likely in Dallas’ future unless a miracle happens with its quarterback situation.
