Mike Tyson’s trainer has issued Jake Paul a terrifying warning by showing the damage ‘Iron Mike’ did to his pads during a sparring session.
Legendary boxer Tyson, 58, will finally take on YouTuber-turned-knockout artist Paul in the ring on November 15. The long-awaited bout will unfold at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and is set to be streamed by millions live on Netflix.
Tyson, who retired from professional boxing after a defeat back in 2005, last fought Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 in an exhibition match. And with Tyson looking to land his 45th career knockout against a fighter 31 years his junior in the eight-round affair, his trainer has delivered a stern warning to Paul’s camp.

Rafael Cordeiro, who cornered the former heavyweight champion against Jones, believes ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ is in far better shape than he was in his last fight. Footage shown in the pre-fight docuseries, titled ‘MVP Uncut’, gives insight into a day in the life of Tyson’s camp.
At one point, after an intense sparring session, Cordeiro simply shows off a pair of hand mitts he had used, demonstrating how Tyson’s ferocious punch power resulted in the leather breaking off.
Cordeiro said: “This is really good equipment, and it couldn’t handle Mike’s punches. Can you imagine Jake’s face? Can you imagine that kid?

“He’s raising his techniques in his training better and is better every single day. His defense, his power, his speed, his endurance, his conditioning – everything he needs to put on a great show.
“The only guarantee that we have is Mike will dare to kill or die. He’s going to hunt this kid like crazy. He just needs one touch. If Mike touches him, it’s over. And the proof is going to be on November 15.”

Tyson pulled out of the fight after it was initially scheduled to take place in July of this year after he was left “throwing up blood”. He was taken to the hospital where doctors discovered a two-and-a-half-inch stomach ulcer.
Paul, who has won 10 of his 11 professional boxing fights, admitted he was heartbroken after hearing Tyson’s news, saying in a new Netflix documentary: “When I received the news that he was out and not able to fight, I was just numb, I was just like, ‘f***…’
“I’m the type of person who likes a schedule and likes to know what I’m doing. This just threw a wrench in all of that, there was nothing I could do, it was out of my control. I look at Mike Tyson as a killer so I never really expected something like this.”
