Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is unlikely to follow in the footsteps of her rival, former President Donald Trump, by appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience.
Over the weekend, Trump’s racked up nearly 40 million views on YouTube alone in just three days.
Despite popular opinion, Rogan expressed interest in hosting Vice President Harris, telling Trump he believes they could have a productive conversation. However, due to time and geographical constraints, it has been announced that Rogan will probably not be able to chat with Harris before the upcoming Nov. 5 election.
Rogan disclosed on X that Harris’ campaign proposed a Tuesday slot, but they wanted the podcast to take place outside his Austin base and were only open to a one-hour interview.

“They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan stated on X. “I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”
During their discussion, Rogan and Trump pondered the possibility of a podcast with Harris, with the former President expressing skepticism about her ability to hold a three-hour unscripted conversation “Can you imagine Kamala doing this show? ” he questioned during the episode.
Rogan quipped about the potential interview: “She’s be laying on the floor. If she did this kind of an interview with you, I hope she does, because it would be a mess. She’d be laying on the floor. Comatose. She’d be saying, ‘Call in the medics’.” He continued optimistically, “I could imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it. And she might still do it.” Rogan expressed his approach, “And I hope she does. I will talk to her like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her.”

He elaborated on his intentions, “I think we’d have a fine conversation. I think I’d be able to talk to her. I wouldn’t try to interview her. I’d just try to have a conversation with her and hopefully get to know her as a human being. That was my goal. Having her on, trying to get her to express herself,” he added.
In related news, Harris recently appeared on NFL star Shannon Sharpe’s podcast Club Shay Shay, but it hasn’t seen the same success as Trump’s episode on Joe Rogan’s platform, still clocking in under 1 million views after 22 hours.
Harris is set for a media blitz on Tuesday before delivering her final pitch at the location of Trump’s notorious Jan. 6 speech, which preceded his supporters storming the Capitol to interrupt the Electoral College vote count.
