Terry Bradshaw admitted that he was more than pleased to see Tom Brady join the FOX Sports’ NFL team this year, while admittedly worrying that his mega-money contract could have future permutations for he and colleague Howie Long.
Bradshaw and Long appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on Monday evening, with the two still being among the nation’s favorite analyst while forming a comedic partnership together on the FOX airways.
Brady is the latest former NFL player to turn analyst while being given a huge contract, a 10-year, $375 million deal, to call games, as former Dallas Cowboys quarterback’s Troy Aikman and Tony Romo have in recent years.

Bradshaw had been asked about his feelings on Brady joining them this past offseason, with Brady jumping straight in with the a-team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
“I thought it was good… then I thought it was bad, because they won’t have any money to me and Howie,” Bradshaw joked when asked about how he feels when he became aware of Brady’s mega-money contract. But Bradshaw then insinuated he had nothing negative to say about Brady while being pleased with the legendary quarterback joining the team.
“It is what it is,” Bradshaw added before Long interjected and stated: “It is jaw-dropping, but I have never counted anyone else’s money.”

Kimmel later joked about the idea of Brady and Bradshaw playing the same position while having completely different personalities, with the latter stating: “You know, I feel like I am definitely proof that you can have a personality and be funny, silly and goofy – while going out on the field and getting things done.”
Bradshaw went on to discuss the idea of Brady being the greatest of all-time, suggesting he doesn’t like to compare between era’s. But back when I played, I was considered the GOAT and then [Joe] Montana came and he was the GOAT.”
The legendary ex-Steelers quarterback then compared resume’s between himself, Montana and Brady, discussing how the former two won four Super Bowl’s and lost none – while Brady won seven Super Bowl’s but lost three.
