BREAKING NEWS: Michael Strahan Left Confused by Terry Bradshaw’s ‘Baffling’ Voodoo Comment About Saints on Fox NFL Sunday .giang

Michael Strahan was left visibly puzzled by Terry Bradshaw’s unusual remarks on Fox NFL Sunday regarding the New Orleans Saints and “voodoo.” The NFL Hall of Famers were joined by Howie Long and Rob Gronkowski for the pre-game show, analyzing Week 8 matchups and discussing team news when Bradshaw brought up the Saints’ recent five-game losing streak after a promising 2-0 start.

However, instead of focusing on football strategy or roster adjustments, Bradshaw took a surprising turn, suggesting that the Saints’ fortunes could be reversed by tapping into New Orleans’ historical association with voodoo practices. “I called Dennis Allen, the head coach of the Saints, I love the Saints,” Bradshaw said. “I’m from New Orleans. I believe in voodoo, like all the people do in Louisiana.”

Bradshaw then elaborated on his “solution” for the Saints’ bad luck, recounting a fictional call to a voodoo practitioner named Marie Laveau, who he claimed concocted a special “potion” for the team. According to Bradshaw, Saints players, including Pete Werner, Taysom Hill, Marshon Lattimore, and quarterback Derek Carr, each took a sip, hoping it would help the team recover from injuries and end their slump.

The bizarre narrative left Strahan, Menefee, and the rest of the panel confused, with Menefee jokingly asking Bradshaw if he “had a cup of something” himself. Strahan watched in astonishment, clearly unsure how to react to the extended, offbeat story.

Bradshaw’s comments quickly went viral on social media, with fans on X (formerly Twitter) calling the remarks “baffling” and questioning whether Bradshaw’s colorful commentary should signal a need for retirement. Some fans, while amused, expressed concern about Bradshaw’s increasing tendency for quirky and offbeat rants, particularly in light of his recent health struggles.

Following Bradshaw’s comments, the Saints faced another disappointing result, falling 26-8 to the Los Angeles Chargers, extending their losing streak and taking them to 2-6 on the season.

Bradshaw has been a staple on Fox NFL Sunday since 1994, and while his personality has long been a cherished part of the show, many fans are wondering if it might be time for the beloved former quarterback to consider stepping back.

New Orleans’ cultural history with voodoo has been well-known for centuries, but even this legendary tradition seems unlikely to provide the turnaround the Saints desperately need.
