Former NFL star Le’Veon Bell took to social media to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris following her remarks during a campaign stop on Friday. The vice president, set to deliver a major campaign address next week in Washington, D.C., was pressed on what her “closing argument” speech would focus on, especially given concerns that it may prioritize warnings about Donald Trump over economic issues.
In response, Harris said, “One of the things I love about the American people is we can hold many thoughts at once. And one of the highest priorities for the American people right now is bringing down costs, and that is the priority of my agenda and will be the priority of my work when I’m elected president.” The nuanced answer left Bell perplexed, prompting him to post a blunt reaction on social media: “HUH???”
Bell continued his critique, suggesting that Harris often evades direct answers. “Kamala Harris NEVER answers a question directly yo,” he wrote. “I feel like she always giving the people the ‘run around.’ Or am I trippin??”
Bell’s frustration with Harris’s response was amplified by his recent public support for Donald Trump, where he has been vocal about his alignment with Trump’s policies and criticisms of the current administration.

Bell then turned his criticism to Beyoncé, who appeared at the Houston rally to endorse Harris, making a brief appearance to advocate for Harris’s vision. The music icon clarified she wasn’t attending as a celebrity but as a mother concerned about her children’s future. Bell’s response to her endorsement was dismissive: “We been knew Beyoncé sold her soul, give us some real news please.”
Known as a long-time supporter of Harris’s opponent, Bell has become increasingly vocal about his political stance, particularly in favor of Trump.
He recently sparked controversy by wearing a T-shirt with a disparaging message about Harris, featuring an image of Trump alongside an unflattering photo of the vice president, with the text, “Trump or the Tramp?” The shirt, worn at a Trump rally, drew sharp backlash from many on social media.
Bell’s support for Trump extends beyond social media.
He appeared on stage with former NFL teammate Antonio Brown at a recent rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The event coincided with Trump’s visit to watch the Steelers play the Jets, adding to Bell’s active involvement in Trump’s campaign activities.
Having spent nearly a decade in the NFL, primarily with the Pittsburgh Steelers before brief stints with the Jets, Chiefs, Ravens, and Buccaneers, Bell has transitioned to boxing in recent years.
Despite his departure from the league, his involvement in politics and public endorsements for Trump have kept him in the spotlight.
With his recent critiques of Harris and Beyoncé, Bell has made clear his support for the Trump campaign, drawing both praise and criticism from fans and followers alike.
