Terry Bradshaw burst into laughter after Rob Gronkowki’s moment on “FOX NFL Sunday”, as the crew interviewed Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Before the Detroit Lions’ matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the star wideout took time to speak with Bradshaw, Gronkowski, Howie Long and Michael Strahan about a variety of topics including star quarterback Jared Goff’s demeanor, head coach Dan Campbell’s locker room attitude and more. St. Brown did his best to give a noteworthy and insightful answer when asked a question.

At the end of the line was Gronkowski, who waited patiently to talk with the star wideout. However, instead of asking a question, the former New England Patriots star tight end had a very brief message for the 25-year-old star, leading to laughter from the crew.

“Amon-Ra, what’s up man? It’s Gronk,” the 35-year-old began. “I actually have no questions for you and I just want to say hello my man. I love your game.”

As his cohosts laughed at Gronkowski’s statement, St. Brown returned the love shown to him by the legendary tight end. “Appreciate it, man, much respect. Appreciate it,” he replied as the interview ended. When the camera panned to a shot of the FOX crew after Gronkowski’s message, the others were amused by the former tight end’s antics, even if it wasn’t in the form of a question.

For St. Brown, he appeared to be calm as he prepared to take on the struggling Titans. The 25-year-old is one of the best wide receivers in the league and his connection with Goff is clear, with the former having put up a career year during the 2023 season.

And while St. Brown’s ascension to one of the game’s elite wideouts is apparent, some believe that is not the case. Pittsburgh Steelers star George Pickens took an unprovoked shot at St. Brown as he explained why his production is not at the same level as Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and others.

During an appearance on FOX Sports 1’s “The Facility,” Pickens singled out St. Brown and downplayed what the Lions receiver had done and how he was being utilized in Detroit. “[Scheme] is the biggest thing in football. That’s how you get Amon Ra St. Browns, you know, slot merchants that schematically get fed the ball,” Pickens said.

“When it comes to that, I ain’t playing QB, O-line and defensive line all at once. Schematically, I think that’s the biggest thing for me to show the world a bigger platform of my game style.”

Though Pickens considers himself among the best wideouts in the league, there have been questions raised regarding his effort during games. During his appearance, Pickens hit back at the notion that he was being selective with how he played.

“I wouldn’t be here this long if I was running lazy routes,” he explained. “I wouldn’t be able to be here, I wouldn’t be able to get past DBs running go-balls if I was lazy as they say based off one game. And like I said, schematics is a lot too.”
