Terry Bradshaw has been a regular fixture on television screens as part of the “Fox NFL Sunday” team for the past three decades – earning a reputation for his outspoken brand of analysis.
The football icon earned four Super Bowl rings during his glittering career on the field across his storied 12-year spell with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The quarterback’s performances in the NFL’s showpiece game earned him the MVP honors on two occasions, with Bradshaw throwing for 932 yards and nine touchdowns in his four appearances.
That haul stood as the all-time record at the time of his retirement, with his memorable showings between earning him a place on the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team. After hanging up his cleats in 1984, he proved in demand in the broadcasting world, with CBS initially handing him a role as a play-by-play announcer. Following on from this, the NFL legend took on a role in the studio on “The NFL Today” before assuming his current post at Fox.

Relationship status
Bradshaw has been married four times and is wedded to Tammy, with the pair having been in a relationship for 15 years before tying the knot on July 8, 2014. The former Steelers star regularly makes reference to his failed marriages prior to his relationship with his current spouse while on air.
Speaking on their reality show, “The Bradshaw Bunch”, he said of marriage: “Getting married is a huge thing and it hadn’t been exactly the strength of my life, that’s for sure. I mean, you have a lot of doubt when you’ve struck out like I have. And I was nervous to fail again. Who wouldn’t be?”
Health battle
The 76-year-old has opened up on his battle with bladder cancer and neck cancer, which he was treated for between 2021 and 2022. He spoke about beating two forms of cancer during an appearance on “Fox NFL Sunday”saying: “In November, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I went to the Yale University Medical Center … surgery, treatment.

“As of today, I am bladder cancer-free. Alright, that’s the good news. Then in March, feeling good. I had a bad neck, I get an MRI, now we find a tumor in my left neck and it’s a Merkel cell tumor, which is a rare form of skin cancer.
“Folks, I may not look like my old self, but I feel like my old self. I’m cancer-free, I’m feeling great and over time, I’m going to be back to where I normally am. So I appreciate your prayers and your concern.”
Political leanings
The former Pittsburgh stalwart was a long-standing supporter of the Republican Party but relinquished his affiliation in 2020. Explaining the reasoning behind his decision, he said to bjtonline: “I’ve been a Republican, but now I’m a registered independent.
I don’t want to alienate anyone, and the minute you say, “I’m a Democrat” or “I’m Republican,” you’re kicking off the other side. I want the best person [in the White House], and I’ll pick the one who’s most like the way I feel.”
