Taylor Swift appeared to be “vying for attention” from her boyfriend Travis Kelce as he seemed to be distracted and uninterested during their latest date at Yankee stadium.

During the New York Yankees vs Cleveland Guardians game on Monday night, the Grammy award-winning singer was seen sweetly planting a kiss on Travis Kelce’s cheek as they sat side-by-side in the stands together. As while Taylor seemed smitten with the NFL star, he seemed to be disengaged and focusing his attention on the game.

For the sporting event, the 34-year-old singer stepped out in a casual all-black look with her signature red lipstick while Travis wore a white shirt, black jacket, and “Midnight Rodeo” merch. After analyzing snaps from the game, body language expert Judi James has weighed in with her professional opinion on their differing energy and what this could reflect about their relationship.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Judi explained that Taylor is “bestowing her signals of love and devotion on Travis here.” She added that Taylor wrapped her arms around his head as if it was a “treasured possession and then kissing it or leaning her own head against it, pointing things out to Travis and celebrating the game when he does with maybe even more enthusiasm.”

And while Judi thought Taylor seemed to be “tuned into Travis” throughout the game, she believed the Kansas City Chiefs’ star lacked the “same level of tuned-in attention.” Judi observed: “His chin is up and when she kisses him here his eyes look away. He seems to be tracking the game more than her, which is understandable, given his career.”

She went on to add: “When she chats and points he doesn’t seem to look. Even when he celebrates he brings his hands up, curled into fists, but he doesn’t seem in this photo to celebrate instinctively with her.”

While the NFL star appeared to be indifferent towards Taylor in this moment, Judi noted that the couple seemed to be “more evenly synchronized” at other times. Throughout the game, the pair were captured by cameras smiling, laughing, and rejoicing after Juan Sotto’s home run.

Despite any sweet moments they shared throughout the game, Judi warned: “Gestures like wrapping yourself around your partner’s head and planting kisses while they’re occupied on something else can begin to be like a vying for attention or even a bit of an ultimatum, however loved up a couple might be.”
