Whether it was a segment for local news or a piece for ESPN, it was clear that Kelce was enjoying his post-football career and the chance to stay involved with the game and its fans.
However, the morning took a scary turn when the cameraman filming Kelce suffered a frightening fall. In a video shared by Barstool Sports, the cameraman can be seen losing his balance and taking a hard tumble while filming the former Eagles star. The camera appears to be completely destroyed in the aftermath of the fall, but concerns immediately turned to the well-being of the cameraman.
Barstool Sports highlighted the moment with the caption: “Camera guy had the fumble of a lifetime after Jason Kelce showed up to the tailgate.”

Fortunately, while the camera seemed to be a casualty, there has been no official word on the condition of the cameraman. Fans are hopeful that he is okay following the accident.
Despite the scary incident, Jason Kelce has been smoothly transitioning into his new role as part of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” crew. In his new career as an analyst, Kelce remains just as vocal and protective of his football family as he was during his playing days. “Optics are that he is all over the place,” Jason said on air before the Chiefs’ October 7 game against the New Orleans Saints. He emphasized that “football has always been the most important thing in Trav’s life,” defending his brother’s work ethic and commitment to the game.
“He has always lived his life to the fullest,” Jason added. “He has enjoyed his off-seasons very much even before Taylor Swift and everything else that was going on in our lives.”
While Jason Kelce continues to enjoy his post-playing career, including tailgating with Eagles fans and analyzing the biggest games of the season, his passion for the sport—and for his family—remains front and center.
