Dak Prescott recently oversaw the demolition of his home in Texas as he embarks on plans to build a new, modern residence. Footage obtained by TMZ showed the Dallas Cowboys quarterback standing at a safe distance with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, while a bulldozer leveled the property on Tuesday.
Prescott reportedly told neighbors that the demolition was part of his plan to “rebuild a more modern home that’s better suited for his current needs.”
The decision to tear down the house marks the beginning of a major upgrade, with Prescott keen on designing a home that aligns with his evolving lifestyle.
TMZ shared several photos and videos capturing the dramatic demolition, with WFAA amplifying the footage by posting some overhead shots on social media. The entire scene showed the house being reduced to rubble, signaling the start of what will likely be a significant renovation project.

Interestingly, the demolition may also have a creative angle. According to TMZ, Prescott was joined by the popular YouTube group Dude Perfect, who assisted in documenting the teardown.
The YouTubers, known for their trick shots and stunts, filmed portions of the demolition, and Prescott posed for photos with the group while cleaning up the yard.
This collaboration suggests that fans might soon see behind-the-scenes footage of the process on the Dude Perfect channel, adding some entertainment value to Prescott’s home rebuild.
With his recent four-year, $240 million contract extension, Prescott certainly has the financial means to create his dream home.
The deal, signed last month, made the 31-year-old quarterback the highest-paid player in the NFL. Now in his ninth season with the Cowboys, Prescott has established himself as one of the league’s top quarterbacks, both in terms of performance and earnings.
However, Prescott’s start to the 2024 NFL season has been a bit uneven. Through five games, he has posted a 92.9 quarterback rating with eight passing touchdowns and four interceptions, along with a 65.4 percent completion rate, his lowest since 2019.
While these numbers haven’t matched the MVP-level production he displayed in previous seasons, Prescott has still managed to guide the Cowboys through some tough early matchups.

As the Cowboys prepare for a marquee matchup against the Detroit Lions this Sunday, Prescott’s focus will remain on securing another key win. Afterward, he’ll have a bye week, giving him some time to shift attention back to his home renovation project.
