Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new allegations in a lawsuit filed by a woman named Thalia Graves, who claims she was sexually assaulted by Combs and his then-head of security, Joseph Sherman, in 2001. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that Graves was raped at the Bad Boy Records studio after being drugged by the men.
According to the complaint, Graves, who was 25 at the time and dating one of Combs’ employees, was coerced into meeting Combs and Sherman, who then allegedly laced her drink with a substance that caused her to lose consciousness. She claims that she woke up bound and restrained, and was subsequently raped. The assault, according to the lawsuit, was recorded on video, which Combs and Sherman allegedly showed or sold as pornography over the years.
Graves said the trauma from the alleged attack led to severe mental health struggles, including PTSD, depression, flashbacks, and suicidal thoughts. Her attorney, Gloria Allred, confirmed that Graves is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages. At a press conference, Graves shared the emotional toll of the incident, stating that while Combs’ current incarceration provides some relief, the pain from the event has been long-lasting.
This lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal troubles for Combs, who is already in federal custody on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges. This new case adds to the growing list of allegations against the music mogul (
