Travis Kelce celebrated his 35th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and teammates, making the day extra special. The Kansas City Chiefs star marked the occasion on Saturday, October 5, in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, following a busy day hosting his annual Kelce Car Jam.
After the fundraiser event, which benefits his Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, Kelce and his loved ones headed to the historic Midland Theatre for an evening of entertainment. Comedian Zac Townsend, who performed at the event, shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram. In one photo, Kelce flashes a peace sign while posing with Townsend, and another shows Townsend alongside Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in a relaxed lounge setting.
The Instagram carousel captured the camaraderie of the night, featuring a snap of Townsend with Jason, 36, and a final shot highlighting Townsend and Mahomes together. Townsend further documented the festivities on his Instagram Stories, sharing a moment with Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, with a playful “Go birds!” caption, paying homage to the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason’s team.
Earlier that day, Travis was joined by his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, along with his brother Jason, Kylie, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany Mahomes, at the Kelce Car Jam. The fundraiser, aimed at supporting underprivileged youth through the Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, brought together his family and community to celebrate a cause close to his heart.
While on stage during the event, Travis shared his birthday wish with the crowd. “How about we go get a win on Monday night? How about that? You guys up for that?” he said, rallying the audience in anticipation of the Chiefs’ upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on October 7. His sense of humor remained intact when he joked about his ideal birthday gift, saying, “Another Super Bowl, if you’ve got one!”

Kelce’s birthday celebration came after a challenging start to his football season. In his first three games, he struggled to reach his usual high standards, attributing the slow start to “not really getting a lot of opportunities to make plays.” However, he quickly turned things around during Week 4 in a thrilling victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, recording 89 yards, which was more than his combined total from the previous three games.
In addition to his NFL success, Kelce has ventured into the world of acting. He recently made a cameo on Ryan Murphy’s new series, Grotesquerie.
In the October 2 episode, Kelce plays a nurse at a hospital caring for the husband of Detective Lois Tryon, portrayed by Niecy Nash-Betts. His character revealed an unexpected backstory as a recovering drug addict who once worked as a male stripper before moving to Alaska, adding another layer to Kelce’s ever-growing list of talents.
