New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein was forced to warm up in the middle of Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders ahead of Sunday’s game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Zuerlein was practicing kicking a field goal when he was swamped by Vikings cheerleaders. He eventually took a kick and managed to avoid hitting any of the opposition cheerleaders.
The two teams are competing in the first NFL London game of 2024, with the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears and the Jags vs. the New England Patriots to follow in the coming weeks.
Heading into Sunday’s game, the Vikings are among the most in-form teams in the NFL, boasting a perfect 4-0 record, matching reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. As for the Jets, they’re 2-2 with a fully fit Aaron Rodgers orchestrating the offense.

Rodgers and Co. were on the end of a disappointing loss last time out, though, falling to the Denver Broncos at the Metlife Stadium. The four-time NFL MVP was unable to lead a game-winning drive, as rookie Bo Nix took the victory for the Broncos.
The Jets could look to complete a trade for the Las Vegas Raiders’ star receiver, Davante Adams, to boost their chances of reaching the postseason. That would see Rodgers reunite with his former Green Bay Packers teammate in New Jersey.
“I don’t know how much I can say about it because of tampering, but I still have a close friendship with him,” Rodgers said on Adams trade rumors ahead of the game against the Vikings. “We spent time in the offseason together. He’s a great guy and a great player. The rest of that is out of my hands.”

Rodgers already has good offense targets, including another ex-Packers teammate, Allen Lazard. He also has Garrett Wilson, the Jets’ biggest weapon at receiver.
Rodgers’ first quarter against Minnesota was one to forget. The 40-year-old threw his career-fifth pick-six, with Andrew van Ginkel returning an interception for a 63-yard touchdown on defense. The Vikings also avoided an injury scare at quarterback, with Sam Darnold being withdrawn for one snap following a sack. Darnold walked off gingerly but swiftly returned to action.
In his next drive, Rodgers threw his sixth career pick-six – a disastrous start for the legendary QB. Justin Jefferson was Darnold’s biggest early target in the opening 15 minutes. Darnold handed J.J. three receptions for 34 yards despite having Sauce Gardner hot on his heels.
