Travis Kelce selflessly raised money for others while celebrating his 35th birthday.
On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end hosted the second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City. All proceeds generated from the annual fundraiser and block party go to his 87 & Running Foundation, which looks to provide support for children in Kansas City and Cleveland.
Among the plethora of stars who attended the event was Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. But Kelce’s girlfriend, pop icon Taylor Swift, was notably absent from his birthday bash despite US Weekly previously reporting in September: “Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”

Swift’s presence could still be felt at the fundraiser, however, as several of her songs were played over the speakers. Kelce additionally showed off his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle at the charity event, which he was spotted driving the songstress in last year after she cheered him on at her first-ever Chiefs game.
“This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,” Kelce said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast earlier this week.
“And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It’s gonna be fun. I should have my old school ’70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have.

“It’s always fun to get out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every single time that I’ve done anything foundation-wise, and I love them for it.”
Speaking to Page Six at the event, Kelce revealed that Swift would be present at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs face off against the New Orleans Saints on Monday. “She will not be here [today. But] I know she’s coming in for the game,” he divulged. As for what gift the 35-year-old would like for his birthday, Kelce added: “I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those.”
After attending the Chiefs’ first two games of the season, Swift has missed Kansas City’s last two contests, which were wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.
In the absence of his biggest fan, Kelce turned in his best performance of the season in the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Chargers last week. The nine-time Pro Bowler reeled in seven catches on nine targets for 89 yards – 20 more than his total yardage output from the prior three games.
It remains to be seen if Kelce has truly turned a corner following an uncharacteristically slow start to the year. Through the first four weeks of the season, he has yet to score a touchdown or eclipse over 100 receiving yards in a single game.
