Dogs get so attached to their hoomans that they begin seeing them as best friends or even family members.
In fact, they get so attached that they cannot imagine a day spent without them. All they do is think about all the fun activities they will do with their favorite hoomans in the whole wide world.
However, a lot of hoomans tend to forget this.
They start to abuse their pets, leaving them completely heartbroken. Some hoomans even abandon them on the streets or at shelters without even saying a proper goodbye.
Such behavior can cause significant consequences to the well-being of the pet. Luckily, animals are extremely forgiving.
Heartbroken And Confused
Coco and Sunshine are doggo siblings who love their family with their whole hearts.
One day, their family decided that they no longer wanted these sweet fur babies, so they dropped them off at Mercy Full Project, a shelter based in Tampa, Florida.
The siblings were very confused at what was happening so they stopped at the shelter gate and watched their parents drive off.
Trying to keep their smiles on, the siblings convinced themselves that they were just on a little play date and that their parents would be back to pick them up in no time. But days went by and Coco and Sunshine remained at the Florida shelter.
It is natural for pups to become depressed at times like this as they not only feel betrayed by the hoomans who they saw as family, but they also feel extremely overwhelmed because of their new environment.
Luckily, the shelter staff did everything they could to make their stay as comfortable as ever. This helped the siblings remain happy and hopeful, knowing that things would start to get better in the blink of an eye.
And that’s exactly what happened!
Things Are About To Get So Much Better
The staff at the Florida shelter were determined to place these adorable babies in a loving forever home as soon as possible. However, they had to keep one thing in mind: they needed to be adopted together!
Finally, the staff found the perfect family that was more than happy to give both of these adorable puppers the best home ever!
As soon as the family met Coco and Sunshine, they knew that these were the dogs for them. They had such incredible energy together that it was clear to everyone that they were meant to be.
“Now, these adorable furballs are bringing endless joy to their new pawrents! Their new home is filled with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of treats! We couldn’t be more thrilled to see them so happy and settled. Congratulations to Sunshine and Coco on finding your forever home! We wish you all the love, care, and treats in the world,” the shelter wrote in a Facebook post.

I can’t explain the feeling I get when I see pups finally get treated the way that they deserve.
