When a rescuer from Atlanta named Kimberly Perkins came home one day she brought one of the cutest surprises ever
The trunk of her car was jampacked with six adorable Great Dane puppies who were eager to get out and explore their new home
Meanwhile her husband wasnt really sure how to act Initially he looked at the pups with a blank stare But since they were so adorable he couldnt help but start smiling
Perkins posted the funniest text over the video explaining how their relationship works

Perkins and her husband are proud foster parents for Save Rocky the Great Dane Rescue and Rehab a nonprofit charity that rescues Great Danes across the entire country And since she was asked if she could temporarily foster a litter of puppies that were surrendered by their owners she immediately agreed
However she decided to keep the whole thing a secret from her husband So when she arrived home she asked her husband to come help her pick up a few heavy items from her car And the rest was history

About Great Danes
The couple took care of the pups for an entire week and even though it was a bit challenging they made it through
At only three months old the puppies weighed an average of 44 pounds each It was a challenging week but full of love and smiles Perkins told Newsweek
Eventually four pups managed to find other foster homes while two remained with the couple One of the remaining two named Lola really clicked with the couple resulting in them adopting her
And since Great Danes are the epitome of big dogs bigger hearts this didnt come as a surprise
One of the first things that anybody will notice when it comes to these cutties is their size Standing up to 32 inches tall at the shoulder its really easy to mistake them for small horses But despite their size they are the gentlest pups ever
They are incredibly sweet and love to cuddle Yes this means that a 150pound dog will try to curl up in your lap and demand some loving hugs and kisses So if you are the type of person who loves a big friendly giant this pup is for you
