Former President Donald Trump is no stranger to controversial depictions, but the unveiling of a 43-foot-tall naked marionette version of him in Las Vegas has certainly struck a nerve. The foam-and-rebar creation, part of the “Crooked and Obscene Tour,” stands as a bold artistic statement—but Trump’s reaction to the towering figure has been anything but quiet.
Upon hearing about the debut of the statue, Trump reportedly commented, “This is a disgusting and pathetic attempt to attack me. Just another desperate effort from the fake news crowd to stay relevant by using my name. It’s sad, really.”
Trump, known for his quick retorts, didn’t stop there. “43 feet? Please. The only thing people want to see bigger than that is my success as the greatest president this country has ever seen. This ridiculous statue is just like all the other failing art pieces—it’s fake, just like their polls!”
He added with characteristic bravado, “These so-called ‘artists’ should spend less time making ugly statues and more time learning how to respect a true leader who brought this country to new heights. Sad!”
