You don’t choose a puppy – the puppy chooses you!
This popular saying has never been more accurate than in the case of Adahn Clarke and her family.
When she, her partner, Chris, their daughter, and their dog, Murphy, arrived at the campsite, their only agenda was to relax and enjoy some quality time away from the city rush!
However, the puppyverse had other plans for them, and those plans turned out to be amazing!
They Walked Into Their Lives – And Their Hearts
Upon their arrival, Clark’s daughter made a wish – to have another dog. Surprised by the girl’s thinking, Adahn didn’t have a particular response, especially since the family already had a dog – Murphy.
However, she would soon be convinced without even trying!
As soon as they set camp, the family was greeted by an unexpected visitor – a pup! She just casually appeared in front of their trailer like the friendliest, sweetest girl, and then she stayed there.
For the next few days, Sunny made herself comfortable, sleeping literally everywhere: under the trailer, on the mat outside, and on the picnic table. For some reason, she felt like home – and even befriended Murphy who embraced her immediately.
Sunny’s origin was unknown, but with her sweet demeanor and friendly behavior, the family assumed she had owners. Just as they were preparing to look for them, another shocking surprise unfolded that night!
Around midnight, Adahn and Chris were hanging out by the fire when Sunny began to bark loudly. Then, she ran under a trailer, as if she were trying to point something out.
Chris looked closer and found this sweet, tiny puppy popping its head under the trailer stairs.
It is safe to say that it was love at first sight. The family instantly fell for this brown addition to their camping group, and it seemed the pup didn’t mind being there, too.
However, Clark couldn’t hide her confusion about how these two pups found their way to them.
“I need to know how the puppy distribution system works, because I came camping just a few days ago with just this one dog, then that one showed up. He just stayed here… Then last night at midnight, this one showed up,” Adahn said in a TikTok post.
The next day, they searched high and low in order to track down Sunny and the pup’s owners. Eventually, they discovered the dogs’ origins but came to terms with taking them home to fulfill their daughter’s wish from the first day!
Ready To Love Them In A Forever Home
Today, Murphy, Sunny, and Suzie, the puppy, are the best of friends. It took them only a few weeks to acclimate to each other completely, and now they are inseparable.
Clark’s daughter couldn’t be happier that her wish had finally come true – two-fold. Now, she not only has two but three dogs.
Sunny and Suzie underwent necessary vet appointments and procedures, and they are now fully adjusting to life in a home. And, to say that they are doing great would definitely be an understatement!
