Whenever I hear a story about dogs or any other animal being mistreated, my heart becomes filled with sadness. How can anybody abuse sweet furry creatures who only want to curl up in our laps and soak up all our love?
Cooper, an adorable pup, wanted to be loved more than anything else in the world, but sadly, he was abandoned and abused by cruel people.
Feeling hurt and lonely, he roamed the streets in search of help. Since nobody wanted to show him any compassion or kindness, he gave up all hope of being rescued.
The sad dog curled up between car tires near a gas station. He was hiding from people, believing that he would never experience love.
He didn’t imagine that good humans were about to extend him a helping hand and shower him with love that he needed very much.
Receiving Much-Needed Help And Love
The owner of the gas station noticed the sad, stray dog lying helplessly between the nearby car tires. Since he wasn’t moving, the man thought that the pup was paralyzed. The owner immediately contacted the local rescue, asking them to help the dog.
As soon as the rescuers received the call, they rushed to the said location to save the doggo.
After they arrived, one of the rescuers walked over to the car tires. She stroked the abandoned dog and gave him some love.
His sorrowful eyes made the rescuer feel deeply saddened. She could tell that he had lost hope of being rescued.
Some of the pup’s fur was missing and his skin was covered in scabies.
His rescuer took him in her arms. She was left heartbroken when she noticed that his ears were missing. Sadly, the adorable pup was a victim of animal cruelty.
Although he went through a lot, the pup, later named Cooper, was nothing but love. He kissed his rescuer, wishing to thank her for her love and kindness.
The rescuer promised Cooper that she would never let him down. While she carried him to the car, Cooper felt safe in her arms.
She gave him food, and the pup couldn’t stop eating. He wagged his tail, showing his gratitude.
The rescuer took him to the vet to get the medical attention he needed. He was given the necessary treatment.
After spending a few days at the hospital, he was discharged and the rescue organization took him under their care.
In the beginning, Cooper was scared and fragile.
His friends knew that he needed some time to adjust. They took care of him, cuddled him, and gave him a lot of love.
Gradually, Cooper started realizing that he was safe. He developed a strong bond with his rescuers. They showed him what true love was.
Little by little, his skin started healing.
Cooper Finds A Loving Home
And, after a few months, he recovered completely. His fur grew back and his eyes were shining with happiness. He looked like a different pup.
His friends continued showering him with love until a wonderful family fell deeply in love with him. They gave him a forever home.
Cooper was the happiest boi when he realized that his greatest wish had come true. He finally had parents who adored him.
He left his sad past behind him and focused on his future with his family whom he loved immensely.
