Leonardo DiCaprio has broken his silence after photos of him partying with hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs at the infamous “white party” went viral. A source close to the actor said Leonardo has had nothing to do with Diddy “for years”.
“Leonardo DiCaprio attended a few parties in the early 2000s but there were a lot of people there. They weren’t weirdos,” the source told the Daily Mail. Leonardo was in the early stages of his career at the time and had moved past his partying phase. “He wasn’t involved and anyone suggesting he was dragged into this mess based on a couple of grainy photos that are over 20 years old is ridiculous,” the source said.
Diddy previously claimed that the Titanic star was “number one” on his “white party” guest list. In addition to party photos, Leonardo DiCaprio and Diddy were also photographed together at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. And Leonardo was also seen dancing alongside Diddy at the rapper’s 50th birthday party in 2019.
